CNY 2009 was quite a blast because there was plenty of mahjong, food & gd company.
Did not expect myself to enjoy one of the least favourite holidays of the year but surprisingly I did, hee hee perhaps it was to make up for the non-celebratory mood last year due to FYP.
- Steamboat reunion dinner with the usual design mates minus the poor ones still stuck in camp (next time next time!)
- Stayover plans at Furry's to do work instead of the airport ended up with 8 of us doing nonsense and more nonsense, waking up at 830am after a few hours of sleep & trekking down to Bedok Reservoir for a much needed run
- Reunion dinner #1 with family
- Reunion dinner #2 with Teddy's family
- Reunion dinner #3 with everyone yo
- Omgoose 4 reunion dinners within 3 days :O
- Cruising the highways in your cousin's new car is awesome hee hee suddenly visiting has taken a whole new meaning
- ECLIPSE !! & risking getting our eyes blinded by the glaring sun
- Mahjongingz till late with cousins, mum, aunts, uncles & teddy :D
- & everything happened in a span of 3 days, how time flies when you are having fun
- Monday bloos on a Tuesday night, sending you back to camp always trigger the blues :3
Its an early weekend for me so my bro & I will be hitting the terminal with different agendas in mind (MUST. DO. WORK)
I can't wait for reunion dinner #4 (HAHA OMG), Bookout Saturday & Yong's place on Sat night & I like filling up schedule pages with plans as such!

Hamster-tales:
- I just cleaned/washed my hamster's cage & I feel immensely satisfied with its spanking clean home !
- My hamster (which we all call hammy) has yet-to-be-properly-named after one month ! Fickle mind fickle mind :O
- Oh & how much it has grown in the past 1 month, she's def a fat chub now 3:
- I like it best when it does her hair combing action with her tiny paws it never fails to amuse me hee hee

On a not so furry note, nothing can cheer me up better than Fridays with long weekends !
Fridays also equate to airport nights until its finally done & over with, Rar I've never felt so much anguish for a project before. >:c
After tmr its good bye to the cny vendors downstairs although I secretly enjoy the hype & crowd , how more fickle can anyone get !

I'm at work now & I'm sleepy & bored.
Scripting is such a bitch sometimes rar.
Hitting the favourite place at T1 again tonight, no sleep no sleep in exchange for a night with flash, as2.0 & cuppa ice blended :(
It was such a bz bz week with shopping trips, birthday parties & a night with Gabby/Breebree, madness much & now I can't wait for cny (long weekends ftw!) teehee I'm gg down to grab all the sparklers on e last day of the cny bazaar :D

Shuffling Stars for the whole of today & tmr;
Hearing them live has def. gotta be the bestest way to kickstart 2009.
Now lets just hope they play my favourite songs of the lot. :D
Chinatown is now bustling with endless dongdongqiang songs & red hanging everywhere.
The street beneath the office has turned into a pasar malam or sorts & in no time the crazy queues for bak gwas will start.
The only reason why I'm looking fwd to CNY is the long weekends & taking the first step of the 2009 plan.
I can only wish for courage on my part & understanding on theirs.

Happy 09 folks!
The last bit of 08 was spent with the usual east siders (plus furry's bf & my brother) who initially had no countdown plans although the night turned out to be quite a blast !
Dinnered at 802 Tamp where 7 of us squeezed round a rly small table with plenty of awesome food & laughters; Trooping over to Mind Cafe at Safra Tamp for boardgames, the two that we played were rly fun & amusing hahaha! They had crackers & sparkling mango on the house & the atmosphere was surprisingly good once we got used to the noise everyone else was making.
It was such bliss spending the last hours of 08 & first hours of 09 together with best friends, boyfriends & the brother ♥
08 has been v. much eventful, 09 is nothing but a piece of white canvas sheet for now.
If I could I would have chosen to stay in 08; I think I've learnt to love what 08 was like for me & us all albeit the ups & downs.
Uncertainty lies ahead; For the v. first time since 1988, I'm walking into an entirely new year knowing nothing at all & not knowing what to expect.
The only thing that I'm sure of is that the people that has walked 08 with me, will def. go nowhere far.

- My yet-to-be-named hamster is such a qt pie !
- Teddy is back in camp but its visiting day this Sunday !

December may be the darkest but December is good so far.
Despite of the humongous amt of work that is v much quite impossible to finish on time, I am going for my (well-deserved I choose to believe) break of 3 days next week and 1 tmr because its POP day!
2.
As liberated and free as I may feel with my upcoming holidays, the heap of work I will be returning to is nothing but an awful dread.

After Angry the AngryCat months back, we met Rainy the Meow today and she was adorable.
Rainy the Meow now belongs to Sophieee so I'll be popping by v much often now meheheh :3

I collected Blurp in the mail today :}

My work buddy and I are almost completed with our avg project. The rest are NOOB.
Satisfying I must say, good job daphyducks nice working with you :}
OK gonna crash so tired.

Monday blues on a Sunday night,
Coming back from a whole weekend of good to an empty heart once more,
Family's away at KL and I have my book and Grey's Anatomy on tv to keep me company for the night, I can't seem to decide which to do so I am reading while watching and drifting to sleep at 8:14pm as well.
Its back to monotony again tomorrow, only with a new intern/friend seated at Darren's seat, people always come & go; Its the 4th friend that left since I started work almost half a year ago & I still dislike goodbyes so v much.
I can hardly wait for December to arrive; I am tired and I need ferry boats, awesome sunshine and a whole lot of merry and fun.
Ok its back to the book and the screen, I am turning in early because tonight there isn't my brother to talk to ( I'm gg to need more books and dvds when he gets enlisted next year ;c( )

First thing this morning, Stars tickets were bought (!!)
Frenzy frenzy .. Refreshing Sistic page million of times to get the best seats possible and the best I could get after countless tries was row B.
We've got better seats than what we had for DCFC, at a cheaper price ! 10% FTW :D
January 7 I can hardly wait, Stars will be a spiffy way to kick start 09, I only hope the army boys will find a way to sneak out of camp for 2 hours of joy.

Dreams seem so far far away ; I need change (like my stupid hair) ; New environment soon ?
So much to explore, so much to improve, so much to learn.
I'm rethinking my steps ever so often these days, "what next" haunts me.

I dislike endings , it leaves you feeling empty and hollow inside.
I've finished reading my book , which was by the way very awesome indeed , and sad yes , but splendid nevertheless , I've finished watching both seasons one and two of Grey's Anatomy , and I don't have season three & four hence experiencing some withdrawal symptoms ;c
The long awaited public holiday is ending in a couple of hours time ; T K TOH's short break of three days has ended as well
I dislike endings very much indeed :|
I need a new book to indulge in ,
Seasons three and four of Grey's ,
the Weekends to arrive quickly ,
and plenty of laughters and fun.

The bloos, oh the bloos.
Friday evening, I moved my seat.
I've always liked sitting in corners.
Feels quite like liberation.. ngeh heh heh.
My "goodbye hair" treat on Friday night after work, along with the brother.
Xiao long baos is the shizz, two baskets of ten and I sadly broke one.
Movie treat from Leonard the ass thereafter, hawhaw thank you bro.
Macs breakfast makes me harpee, weddings after happy breakfast makes me even happier.
Congrats Roy, your dutchess looked really beautiful.
I love weddings, they are such happy things. :}
Spent my Sunday watching Samantha Who over doing freelance, which by the way is finally at 90% near completion (hahaha),
snacking on oreos and pratas along the way..
and after a short car ride we took, I'm back in a now empty room.
It took 3 days and a whole lot of drama to get things right.

Today marks the third month of stepping into working life and the end of happy-probation, one day from age twenty, seven days from dcfc, and three hundred sixty five days after a story end.
Gabby celebrated an early third birthday on Saturday with quite an awesome bunch of company, colourful balloons that can't be sticked onto walls, dinosaur nuggets and a kilogram of an eeyore cake.
I sat her on my lap while we played daidee, and the lousy cards did not matter one bit. :}
Thank you those who dropped by to help finish the food, thank you :3 for helping with the cooking and balloons ❤
